Liquid Architecture 2009
Sound-art sculpture
Large, Room-sized Instrument was commissioned by the Liquid Architecture Festival in 2009. It was designed and built by Marc Rogerson and performed by Plump with Marc on lighting, Dave Brown playing the instrument and Philip Samartzis mixing. The piece was attached to the walls of each performance space and the audience were immersed, where possible, amongst the illuminated pods. Each installation varied according to the site conditions.
The materials were fibreglass pods, lamps, battery, steel wire steel tubing and contact microphones.
